Bookmarks

I was rereading 1984, a comic book my sister left behind, and one of the classic Marvel alternate-universe type of thingies. I left a bookmark in one of the sheets, a picture taken in the summer we graduated high school.

You forget things. Life moves you forward, but when you leave bookmarks around, they surprise the living heck out of you. Treat them as you want, and the feelings you get range from "That was nice" to "Damn, I shoulda done this then".

Sometimes you realize that memories in its absolute form has many purposes in life. Memories we've had in the past, unfinished, unrealized, sometimes these things are the most powerful.
