Senior year jitters

It's a mixed feeling of wanting to be rid of school once and for all, while coping with the looming dread of being kicked out of your house after graduation.

Somehow I hope to cling on this childhood. My nails are clawed in. I still feel like a kid. I literally just watched a replay of Swat Kats over a bowl of Oreo O's.

I guess the scary thing is the autonomy and what looms in the distant future. Somehow school's supposed to get us ready for the next few years, when all around you, you see technology change the way we do things. Paid blogs never existed and now people are making bags from this new addition to their portfolio. Will banks still be a thing? Will I work in an office or in a field with my laptop? I don't know.

I do have jitters, but what I learned from this experience is that sometimes it's not the grades that matter, but that you went through it. No matter what academic, social, emotional, physical aspect of life was thrown at me, here I am still standing.

You may have bruises and battle scars, but here you stand. Bet on yourself, you've made it this far.
