Four weddings

Just watched Four Wedding And A Funeral. Hugh Grant plays Charles, a hopeless and hapless noob. If you like to indulge in a British Rom-Com every now and then, I suggest you hit this up one afternoon.

Okay, so, a question.

If by any chance, the person that you love the most was engaged to or married to someone else, would you wait hoping that they may break up at some point, yet risk the rest of your life in solitude? Or would you get married to someone you love at a lesser level, knowing that you never achieve peak happiness? This was the dilemma I was thrust into after watching that movie.

So let's go.

I've dated one person so far in my life.

At times, she was absolutely perfect. The relationship was different, though. And initially you always question this thing you're in. Of all the things you'll ever do in life, will you ever follow through on this?

This movie appeals to those who have never loved. I'm sorry. It's true. You realize, that the ONE, or the person you love the most, is only perfect at the start. You soon have to work on the little kinks.

Thus the appeal of not going full into relationships. If you can get over the fact that you won't have that person in your life, and all you will have are countless arrays of honeymoon periods, then why not?

But, I for one will not wait. Though, knowing myself, I would be susceptible in thinking "What if".

I hate thinking like a woman. Damn you Charles.
