Ralph Waldo Emerson said that "The characteristic of heroism is its persistency. All men have wandering impulses, fits, and starts of generosity. But when you have chosen your part, abide by it, and do not weakly try to reconcile yourself with the world. The heroic cannot be the common, nor the common the heroic."
Last week... TEAM UNICORN saved the economy by joining the Fort's "Run for the stock exchange". This week, we saved the world again by joining U.P.'s "Run for the environment". By our powers combined who knows how many lives we can save.
We are uncommon.
Heroes live among us.
They put their bodies on the line for the well-being of society. They endure the hurt, the pain and every obstacle. They keep the faith that gives us strength and bleed for us.
That is the hurt right there.
Heroes are modest and noble. They cover their faces to take away everyone's vision of goodness and dedication. It's to give the impression that anybody who you see walking down the street could be a hero. They keep their identity secret.
??????
Heroes do not care about glory and recognition. The fact of the matter is that they live among us. Their pain, sweat and tears live on through the memories of those that witnessed their greatness.
Save the world
