Guilt and trips

On the way home from Galera, we decided to commute. We took a 3-hour bus ride from the Batangas Port to the Metropolis station on the underside of the Alabang overpass. After that long trip which included unnecessary stops in Lipa and Tanauan (which explains why it pretty much took three hours to get to Alabang), I was in no mood for any more commuting. I was gonna take a cab to my house. It cost me 250 pesos, but I didn't give a shit.

"Saan po kayo galing, sir?" asked the cab driver. "Puerto Galera po and pwede po pahatid sa Alabang hills?"

We were given an update on the news we've missed in this vacation. At first, the cab driver pointed out that we missed the Eraserheads concert due to our stay in Galera, but then retorted by saying "Pero, sabagay, di naman po kayo nakikinig dun eh".

After that... he gave his ultimate guilt-trip line."Sarap ng buhay po noh? Nabuhay ka lang at mayaman po kayo kaagad"

He is the reason why I avoid the masses.

Heeeeeeeey. D: Betch.

You know what, they just don't know any better because they're not educated, school or otherwise. Ignorance is one of the main reasons why humans hate each other, anyway. Don't let it get to ya. Just work hard, become successful, and take note of his name and plate number so you can track him down one day. Hahaha.
