Star Wars Episode III

Damn all the oldies. This was my favorite Star Wars. When you rewatch the entire saga over and over again, you end up fast-forwarding to this movie, the final installment in George Lucas' epic scriptwriting catastrophe. It's still a good saga, though.

When Anakin turns to the darkside, the first of his old friends that he sees is Padme. His fucking wife. As much as he wanted to do everything to save her, there was no way she would put up with his dark shit. Contrary to popular belief, some women don't like dark meat, bro.

This is the fault in all those self-help bullshit that tells you to work hard to get what you want. The chink in that proverbial armor is that people are complicated. You can do all that you want. You can decapitate the sand people, skewer the (say it Obi wan) yuh-yuh-young-lings and take over the galaxy, but when the time comes to present your case for being the best boyfriend out there, Natalie Portman can just tell you to fuck off. She says "You're going down a path that I cannot follow" or in the local dialect "Di na kita trip"".

You can make her hatid to class, message her in YM, change your status to include a line that's in the book she's reading, chat her every now and then, but at the end of the day, di ka niya trip.
And there it is life. All your hard work, and it ends up being subjective.

The most powerful being in the galaxy got busted by sweet Natalie Portman, and now he's a walking tech disaster.

Such is life. So when you want something, make sure its not a person. We humans are hard to predict sometimes.
